Service of the Longest Night: Dec 21

Winter Solstice – Longest Night of the Year

The weeks leading to Christmas can be hectic and sometimes stressful. This season can be difficult for those who are experiencing transition and change in their lives. The loss of a loved one is often felt most poignantly at this time of year when everyone else seems to be filled with joy and celebration. Whatever your circumstances, whether you are grieving or simply want to pause for a quiet and thoughtful time of reflection, you are invited to come to Kimberley United Church for the Service of the Longest Night, December 21st, 7:00 pm. This will be an inclusive and reflective time of candle lighting, gentle music and thoughtful readings. The service will be approximately 30 minutes in length. All are welcome.
