KOOTENAY PRESBYTERY INVITES YOU
to join us here in Kimberley United Church for our Spring Meeting, April 13th to 15th, 2012.
We have some special visitors at this meeting and we think you might find them interesting enough to join us for the whole weekend or just part of the weekend.
You may want to come on:
Friday April 13th,
2.00 pm to hear the Moderator, Mardi Tindal, speak about her work as moderator and her passion for the earth
7.00-7.45 p.m. Worship led by members of Castlegar United Church
7.45-9.15 pm Introduction of PeerSpirit workshop with Christina Baldwin and Ann Linnea (if you want to know a bit more about PeerSpirit, check out their website www.peerspirit.com)
Saturday April 14th
8.45-9.00 Singing
9.00-9.15 Worship led by members of Burton Pastoral Charge
9.15- 12 Peer Spirit workshop
3pm-5.15 Business, using the Peer Spirit Circle process that we will be hearing about on Friday evening and Saturday morning
5.15-5.30 pm Theological reflection on the day by Moderator Mardi Tindal
7-8.45pm Conversation with the Moderator, Mardi Tindal (open to the community)
8.45-9pm Closing worship led by members of Communities in Faith Pastoral Charge
Sunday April 15th
Worship at 10 am -guest preacher Mardi Tindal
Lunch after worship.
If you want to stay the entire time (from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon) there is a charge of $45 to pay for meals, snacks, etc.
If you just want to drop in for any or all of the above sessions, there will be no charge.
